1. Make Valentine’s Day string art

 From 6 to 8 PM, head to the Driftwood Market for a unique artisan workshop. It costs $60 for one or $110 for a couple. The class includes everything you need to make a take-home piece of art, including expert instruction, all the materials necessary, and even a glass of wine for each participant.

2. Watch fireworks from “The Love Boat”

 Known to many as “The Love Boat,” check out the incredible Magic Kingdom nighttime fireworks spectacular from Grand 1 Yacht. This is a 52-foot yacht that cruises through Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon. If you want true luxury, add butler service, a gourmet meal, sparkling champagne, and, of course, chocolate covered strawberries for a truly romantic evening.

3. Enjoy an evening of belly laughter

If you’d rather enjoy a concert in the afternoon, consider stopping by Bok Tower Gardens. Their romantic Valentine’s Day concert begins at 1 PM and ends at 3 PM. It costs $14 to get into the gardens but you could spend the entire afternoon seeing everything there is to bring wonder to your eyes.

There’s no question that love can get messy but that doesn’t have to be a bad thing. The Valentine’s Experience at DRIP Orlando pairs visual arts with the performing arts. Expect raining paint, live music, and raw emotion – plus chocolate and alcoholic beverages.

Valentine’s Day is the perfect day for a classic romantic date like a picnic. Check out the free concert on Park Avenue by the members of the Bach Festival Choir for a unique twist. The performance will be begin shortly after 5 PM so it’s perfect timing for a dinner picnic.

11. Play homage to your favorite star: Justin Timberlake

Why not consider something truly original, like heading to the 4th Annual Justin Timberlake Show at Tin Roof Orlando? Tickets are just $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Parking is free, the show starts at 8, and it’s sure to be both impressive and inspiring.

12. Watch classic romantic movies

The Enzian, the only full-time indie cinema in Central Florida, is offer a brunch they’re calling “The Only Someone for Me” brunch. It begins with a buffet and live music. 13. Celebrate your love for wildlife

For the second year in a row, Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge is offer a culinary delight on Valentine’s Day. Enjoy a prix fix menu, free beer, access to their Wildlife Walk, a raffle, and a silent auction. Violist Brianna Shirin will be playing and dinner starts at 7:30. Ticket are $75 per person.

14. Get romantic at the Indie Folk Fest

The Museum of American Art is featuring both afternoon and evening dates at their Indie-Folkfest. Bring the entire family and enjoy picnic foods provided by the East End market, music, and special craft cocktails. The event takes place in the sculpture garden from 2 PM to 7 PM.
